Summer 2018

The lovely West Wittering beach.
The sun is still shining here in West Sussex.
Here we are in July and I do wonder where the time has gone, but we are having the most glorious summer here in the South of the UK, although my plants do not necessarily agree! The grass is yellow but I don’t mind really because but it reminds me how hot and glorious it really has been recently.

The Art Trail happened again in May and although numbers were down a bit from last year (other artists on the Trail said the same), I still sold some work and I have some new commissions, so that it always great. I also just like chatting to the visitors who take time out to visit my studio. I had my lovely cousin staying with me during the Trail, so there was always something to chat and laugh about.

So a big change for me was a new job, which has taken a lot of work to prepare for that. It was little things like researching and buying a new phone and laptop and sorting all the items associated with these, that really ate into any free time I had. So, now I feel as if I’m beginning to settle in and wanting to get the brushes back out again.

I’ve also neglected the website and I really wanted to update things here and finish or revamp some of the pages, but I just didn’t have the time. It’s back on the agenda now and so please revisit as I do so.

I hope you’re enjoying July wherever you are and whatever season you are currently in. Please contact me regarding any items here or if you’d like a commission.
